Small Media as an Experience of Discursive Media Resistance

The article focuses on the modern phenomenon of Russian media space — so called “small media”. authors define, analyze different causes, suggest possible typology, describe economics and audience such media. They also give special attention to peculiarities constructing practices journalistic discourse (based experience 10 small media). With help content analysis, intent analysis expert interviews, specific characteristics this type are revealed, which significantly differ from traditional media, especially in forming their own agenda, choosing topics genres, broadcasting meanings, relationships with audience.
